Seriously, this is a no-brainer. Natural gas has to go the way of the Soviet Union at least in Europe in order to stop fueling Russia's war machine. The alternatives may be cheaper and more healthy. Natural gas heaters and ovens are bad for your health. Induction stoves are more efficient, so the food is cooked faster. Natural gas consumption in the EU households equals to ~10% of the total gas consumption. This needs to happen:

1. Ban sales and production of natural gas operated appliances such as stoves, ranges, cooktops, grills and heaters
2. Consequently, no gas supply for all new residential buildings
3. Ban car conversions to CNG
4. Offer incentive to replace existing infra with electric equivalents

This is both a public health issue, a sustainability concern, and could be a part of sanctions against Russia's kleptocracy.
